Programme prévisionnel DNL Histoire-Géographie 2016-2017 pour la classe de Seconde

Les élèves de Seconde inscrits en classe européenne se partagent entre la DNL histoire-géographie et la DNL SVT.

Ils ont donc deux sessions de six à sept semaines par an dans une DNL.

Voici une liste indicative des thèmes qu’il sera possible d’aborder, en histoire et en géographie, l’année prochaine.

1st session : History – Britain & Ireland in the Age of Enlightenment and Revolutions

─ Study 1 : ‘The World Turned Upside Down’ (Christopher Hill) : The British Civil War, 1642-51. Sources and Final task to be determined.
─ Study 2 : Health & Death and aristocratic life in Ireland in the Age of Enlightenment : the Letters of Lady Louisa Conolly. Final task : making an online exhibition.
─ Study 3 : Britain & Ireland and the French Revolution (I) : the Life and Death of the ‘Citizen-Lord’ Edward FitzGerald (1763-1798). Final task to be determined.
─ Study 4 : Britain & Ireland and the French Revolution (II) : Batman : The Dark Knight Rises or How do the English sphere remember the Revolution ?
─ Study 5 : Leaving Ireland in the 19th century.

2nd session : Geography – Agriculture and Energy in the World

─ Case study : Biofuels in Indonesia.
─ Final task : Let’s make the COP21 a success in our school ! Debate with students assuming the role of the delegations at the COP.
